NDA 70th Regular Course Admission Requirements

All candidates are required to meet the necessary admission requirements into the Nigerian Defence Academy 70th regular course. To be eligible, candidates have to:

  1. Obtain a minimum of 5 credits in the SSCE examination in subjects relevant to their chosen faculty of study is not more than 2 sittings
  2. Compulsory have at least a credit pass in Mathematics and English Language
  3. Obtain at least an extra 2 credits pass in supporting subjects relevant to their desired Faculty of study
  4. Be at least 17years old and at most 21years old at the month of August 2018.
  5. Be at least 1.68meters tall for male and 1.65meters tall for female
  6. Be medically and physically fit and of reputable character
  7. Be a single male or female without any obligation to look after a child
  8. Present a certificate of State of Origin obtained from an LGA or Certificate of State indigeneship, obtained from a State government

 

Note: Only candidates from age 17 and 18 years are eligible to apply for the Nigerian Airforce. Additionally, the Nigerian Air Force has suspended the recruitment of female applicants.

An understanding of French language is an added advantage and candidates awaiting results will not be eligible to apply. Furthermore, only SSCE examination results of not more than 5years old will be considered.

Admissions of male and female candidates into the Nigerian army and Navy are permissible, with the exception of the Air Force.
